It works!

Works as advertised. Since I'm an Ooma Premier customer, I called Ooma to help me set up the Linx device. I actually wanted my ported landline (one of my two numbers) to ring at the Linx. They needed to set that up. No issues. The call took 10-15 minutes. Everything works great.

Ridiculously Simple Setup

I purchased my Ooma Telo over three years ago, and have the 'Ooma Premier' annual membership with two phone numbers. We never use the second phone number, so when my aging in-laws moved in with us last month, I got the Linx to put a phone port in their room. I simply created a second 'Device' in the configuration web site, and moved the unused phone number to the new device. The Link connected phone only rings when that number is dialed, and our phone number doesn't ring in the in-laws room. If I ever need a dedicated fax line, this would be the way to do it. You can have up to nine phone numbers on your Ooma account - they cost an additional $4.99 each starting with the third number.

question

What is the minimum up load and download speeds for this unit to work reliably?
Asked by: Edward G.
i don't know in that my brother-in-law and sister-in-law installed Ooma Telo an d the Ooma Linx. They found that I really didn';t need the Ooma Linx and were able to connect 4 other phones without it. I'm saving the Ooma Linx to possibly use it at my daughters when she changes from AT&T to Ooma. Let me know if you want me to contact them.
