Epson WF-2540 Overview

The WorkForce WF-2540 Wireless Color All-in-One Inkjet Printer from Epson prints at ISO speeds of 9 pages / minute in black and at 4.7 pages / minute in color and can output borderless photos in common sizes up to 8.5 x 11.0". In addition to USB connectivity, the WF-2540 includes wired and wireless network connectivity for sharing the printer with other computers on your network. The printer is also compatible with AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, and Epson Connect which lets you print from mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

The machine's 30-sheet ADF lets you scan, fax, and copy multi-page documents in 1 easy step. The copier can output up to 99 copies of the same document and resize them anywhere from 25% to 400% of the original document size. Additionally, you can adjust the copy density and make the document lighter or darker than the original. The WF-2540 comes with OCR (optical character recognition) software which converts scanned documents into searchable text.

The WF-2540's built-in fax modem lets you send and receive faxes in full color. The printer can store up to 180 pages in its internal memory so you can continue to receive faxes even if the machine is out of paper. Additionally, you can fax a document directly from a connected computer using the printer's PC Fax feature.
