    Celestron 71332 Reviews

8x42 Nature DX Binocular is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 63.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value for the Money I was looking for an inexpensive pair of binoculars for my kids, but I still wanted a pair with decent quality, and I have to say the value for the money is astonishing.? I obviously wasn't expecting the same view that I get through my Zeiss Victory FL's, but I was really blown away that for just over 100 bucks, you can get this type of build quality and optical performance.? Throw in the fact that they are? light-weight compared to others in their class, and that they are waterproof and nitrogen filled, and you couldn't ask for more.? Color rendition is solid, and edge sharpness is on par with binoculars costing two to three times as much.? I just don't think you can beat the value for the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from amazing budget binoculars These were an upgrade from some inexpensive pair of bushnell 10x50s. Wow! What an improvement! Despite minor dispersion around the image these produce an incredible view for the price. The field of view is substantial at 7.4 and the min focal distance of 6 feet makes birding at short ranges exciting. Focusing in on a bird that's body length away is quite stunning. I'd recommend these 100% to any serious birder on a budget. I'm also a glasses wearer and these are a pleasure to use even with my specs on. Check the review of these of Cornell Lab of Ornithology, too. You won't be disappointed with these 'nocs!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product For this price you absolutely cannot go wrong. We bought these and also a pair of Nikons in the $500 range, and the Celestron was better. It focused much quicker and was equal in the clarity and brightness. The Audubon site rated these first in class in the introductory level, and I now agree. For the price, it's almost unfair to competition. If you want to see your birds up close without breaking the bank get a pair! Plus the construction and durability is great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent binoculars, even if they cost double the price! This is my first pair of upgraded binoculars beyond the 'cheapo' discount store type and I have to say I love them! I purchased them based on the suggestion of the Audubon Society for binoculars in their price class and have been completely happy with them. They are excellently constructed, the optics are outstanding, they focus quickly and easily, and just feel great in my hands. A friend that has a more expensive pair and when he checked these out stated they were superior to his. I've already ordered the 10x42 version to have in our other vehicle and to offer a different magnification for different viewing purposes. I highly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great binocular for the money! I recently purchased these binoculars based on many positive online reviews. I am really impressed with them due to the features offered, crystal clear optics, lightweight design and the great sale price. Focusing is just right - not to tight or too loose. Good long eye relief for eyeglass wearers and really close focus just add to the package. They are well-balanced in your hands for long periods of use and appear to be very well built. On top of that I got two day expedited free shipping from B&H!All in all I am very pleased with these Celestron bino's and hope to have them for many years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just try to find something better for the money Purchased these for my wife, she is always looking at birds, deer, chipmunks, squirrels, and othe assorted animals that visit our back yard. After doing the research and reading the reviews I choose these for her. They are far better then we expected. You can see the smallest details and with incredible clarity. They will even focus on items as near as 6.5 feet which I find amazing. Another cool feature is that if you wear eye glasses the eye pieces can be adjusted to better accommodate them. The focus dial is smooth and the overall build quality excellent. They are also water proof just in case you get caught in the rain. Get them ........you'll love them. And get them from the best....B&H.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Binocular Value I have a pair of Swarovski binoculars that cost 10x what these did, but I bought these to have a second pair for an African safari and was not disappointed. I honestly preferred the Celestron binoculars because they had a wider field of vision, a slightly larger image, and were just as clear and easy to use.Since then, I have used them for several football games and can literally see the players expressions and can keep track of the ball whatever crazy play they may run.Fantastic binoculars for the money!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best bird watching for the price Mainly used for bird watching on the front porch, they are rugged and we leave them out unless we expect heavy weather. At this price we allow the grandchildren to use them too. My wife says the size is perfect and they fit her hand and come to the eye easily. We have spent more for lesser quality.

My eyes have different prescriptions. Does anyone know if the Celestron 8x42 Nature DX has a dioptric correction feature?
    Asked by: barbara b.
Sorry I could not answer sooner....I was on an extended trip and my cell phone would not connect to this response box. Now that I am back on a regular pc, I can confirm that these binoculars, which I own, do have dioptric correction for the right eye piece.

How does the Celestron Lifetime Warranty compare to the Carson or Vortex No Questions... type warranty?
    Asked by: Kenneth A.
The Celestron Warranty is a Limited Lifetime. So it only covers against defects. The No Questions asked warranty from Carson and Vortex cover against accidental damage, as well as Manufacturer Defects.
