As I wrote above, this charger should come with an instruction booklet on how to install and remove the plates correctly. The booklet should also tell you about the charging process. In other words, what to expect before and after you begin a charge. Small issue to some. Larger to others.

I always buy aftermarket chargers if I can as they work just as good as the OEM ones do and are a lot less money, plus if you buy the combo packs you get a charger with it and you can charge multiple batteries at the same time.

How does this charger do with the installation of the plate for the Nikon /Watson EN-EL3e battery? Does it connect properly?

Can this Watson Compact AC/DC Battery Charger fit all different Watson dedicated interchangeable plates for different batteries including e.g. plates for D-LI109, D-L190 and D-L168 of Pentax cameras?

Can anyone verify whether or not the light changes color to indicate a full charge? I've read conflicting reviews; some say there is no charge indicator, while others say there is.

If you plug in the charger without the battery, it glows green then when the battery is connected it glows red. Once the charge is completed, it glows green again.
