The HCP DSLR Custom Finder Plate for HoodLoupe from Hoodman is an adjustable mounting solution for 3" or 3.2" HoodLoupes. The base plate features a camera mounting screw and dual 1/4"-20 tripod sockets. Connected to it is an upright column that attaches to the optional HoodLoupe. The on-board hex tool enables horizontal and vertical adjustments.

Hi, I recently purchased from B&H the HLPP3M loupe and now want the base plate to suit my 800e ... Is this the correct one and will it work with and without the battery base on the camera? ..thanks Geoff (a wish I lived in New York customer so I could see all the goodies in the store)
