- Omnidirectional Polar Pattern
- 3.5mm TRS Dual-Mono Connector
- Sends Audio to Left & Right Channels
The Polsen OLM-10 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone is an all-in-one solution for recording hands-free audio to both channels of your camcorder or DSLR, as well as recording devices with a 3.5mm mic-level input that cannot supply phantom power. It is a self-powered clip-on electret condenser mic designed for accurate voice reproduction in home and video webcasting applications such as presentations, interviews, dictation, and corporate video. The microphone's small, 21mm long lightweight body allows for discrete placement with the included tie-clip while its 20' long cable gives you ample distance from your recording device.
Featuring a 3.5mm dual-mono TRS output connector, the mic sends audio to both the left and right channels of your recorder. Thanks to its omnidirectional polar pattern, the OLM-10 provides a uniform response that will not cause the bass-boosting proximity effect common with cardioid patterns, while allowing you to move freely without off-axis rejection causing a drop in volume. The in-line power switch allows you to quickly mute the microphone as well as preserve battery life when not in use. The OLM-10 includes a windscreen for reduced noise and plosives and a 1/4" adapter.

question
If I use two OLM-10 microphones connected to a single camcorder via a Y connector, will there be any feedback issues? I know that purchasing one OLM-20 will not result in feedback, but I would prefer to purchase two OLM-10 microphones if there is no feedback issues. Thanks!
Using a Y connection is NOT recommended. The results will probably result in an audio track that is very distorted or over-modulated. Use a small mixer: The Azden CAM-3 3-Channel Mic Mixer allows you to add and mix sound from three Azden wireless or hard wired microphone sources simultaneously.Input Connections: -------------------------Input 1 and 2: 3.5mm MonoInput 3: 3.5mm Stereo ------------------------Output Connectors: 1 x 3.5mm stereo

question
Can this microphone be used with an iPhone 7 Plus using Apples headphone adapter?
This mic features a standard mic jack not compatible with smartphones. For connection to a smartphone an adapter is required. We recommend the Rode SC4. This will work with the iPhone 7 using the Apple 3.5mm to lightning adapter.
