    Westcott 326 reviews

50" White Diffuser is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from A Westcott Basics 5-in-1 frame without extra covers! As far as being a translucent white diffuser, it will do the job. I prefer non-translucent reflectors as a white bounce, but I'm sure this will do the same as a bounce if needed. If you do decide to buy this because it is a Wescott branded product, please take note. I currently own a square 'illuminator' series reflector (silver/white) from Westcott, which I use frequently and prefer over other generic reflectors I own. The illuminator has great material and a thicker, stronger frame. It is more durable than my generic brand reflectors and produces great results as bounce. However buying another illuminator line comes at a cost that I preferred not to spend on a translucent diffuser. So, being frugal, I took a chance on this round 'non-illumnator' series and was somewhat dissappointed upon receipt. I find it equal in construction and quality as my generic reflectors, except with a Westcott name. It also became clear after receiving the product that this is one of Westcott's 'basic' series, which is not noted very well in the description. For those who already have a Westcott basic 5-in-1 kit, this is simply the same internal frame without the other covers.... I have been debating on returning this diffuser, but I've considered that it may be worth testing out to see if it can hold up through several shoots and worthy of purchasing again in the future.
