ASUS CM6730 Overview

The Essentio CM6730-US009S Desktop Computer from ASUS is a simple yet powerful desktop computer that is perfect for dorms and homes. This ASUS desktop computer has a minimalist design accompanied by an understated black finish.

The system is powered by a quad-core 3.1GHz Intel Core i5-3350P processor. It also has 8GB of 1600MHz DDR3 RAM, a 1TB 7200rpm hard drive, a SuperMulti DVD burner, a 6-in-1 media card reader, an included keyboard and mouse. Visuals are handled by the dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 620 graphics card with 2GB of discrete memory. There is also an HDMI port so can you output high definition video content to an external display, such as an HDTV.

Windows 8 (64-bit) is the installed operating system. Windows 8 replaces the traditional Start menu with a redesigned Start screen. The Start screen features tiles, which provide notifications in real-time. Windows 8 also focuses more on cloud storage as well as apps, which can be downloaded from the Windows Store. Windows 8 provides a unique user experience that differs from previous versions of Windows.
