The Zacuto Gorilla Plate V2 is a small camera mounting plate for small DSLR and mirrorless cameras. The plate provides mounting points for available Z-Finder mounting frames allowing you to attach a Zacuto Z-Finder to a camera such as the Panasonic GH3. Additional frame options allows the Z-Finder to be attached to a variety of DSLR cameras. The Gorilla plate features a rubberized top to provide good grip and prevent the camera from twisting on the plate. The 1/4"-20 camera mounting screw is captive, so you don't have to worry about it falling out when you remove the camera.

Can i mount a tripod base plate to Gorilla plate v2 so I can switch between shooting on a film tripod and a zacuto marauder rig?
The Gorilla v2 plate has two 1/4 -20 threaded mounting holes on the bottom to allow attachments. There is a tripod dock available specifically made for this plate that would allow you to effectively use this plate as quick-release for your plate.
