The Arca-compatible Manfrotto MSQ6PL Quick Release Plate for Q6 Top Lock System is a 2.76" long sliding quick release plate compatible with 054 and 055 Q6 ball heads as well as the add-on Q6 quick release adapter for heads without one. The 1/4"-20 camera screw is secured to the camera using the fold-away D-ring, coin notch or an Allen wrench.

Manfrotto makes some nice equipment including this plate which fits snuggly on my full-size Sony SLT. However, there are some limitations you should be aware of prior to purchasing the plate. If the plate is run parallel to the long axis of the camera body due to its length, the plate partially obstructs the battery door. This requires you to take the plate off prior to changing the battery. If you turn the plate perpendicular to the long axis of the body, it obstructs the moveable rear monitor as it fits snuggly against the monitor hinges restricting ALL movement. Another manufacturer's plate I have only restricts the battery compartment, but the monitor is fine. Other than these two things I like the plate.
