The Fotodiox Nikon G Pro Lens Adapter for Micro Four Thirds Cameras is a high quality adapter that allows you to mount a Nikon G mount lens to a Micro Four Thirds camera body. It features a brass construction with a stainless steel finish as well as the ability to focus to infinity. This works with a leaf spring system for a secure attachment.

This adapter will not allow for electronic control over lens functions. In order to function with automatic metering you will need to place the camera in manual or aperture priority mode, where the camera will utilize stop-down metering to determine the appropriate shutter speed.

Nikon G Pro Lens Adapter for Micro Four Thirds Cameras is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from It fell apart into three pieces The center part is the aperture ring and is held together by two outer mounts. These mounts are glued together and the inner ring rotates and controls the aperture of the lens. The glue that was used on my adapter never set up and when I mounted my lens to the adapter it just fell off of the camera ! Luckily I caught it before it hit the ground.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Could not focus to infinity I filmed with this product with the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera on a professional film shoot on an exterior location. Partly cloudy. Light Rain. Fall. in Montreal. During our camera test we tested several Ziess Distagon lenses ( 18mm, 21mm,28mm, 25mm, 35mm) as well as the NIkon AF f/2.8 14mm, 28mm, 50mm lens. On all of these lenses we were unable to focus past 14 feet. During the shoot our DOP was forced to shoot at f/16 - f/22 in order to achieve maximum focus on with the lens. At the end of the shoot we needed to push the ASA to 1600 in order to properly expose the image. I had high hopes for this adaptor when I purchased it. After testing it on a professional shoot Ive come to the realization that this adaptor is worthless. I am returning it. I am not sure if we can re-shoot the scenes that were lost because of this adaptors inability to function as indicated by the manufacture. *Post Script* After the shoot I tested the same Camera with a Vello Canon EF/S adaptor on a Ziess CP.2 18mm Compact Prime. This adaptor had no problems focusing to infinity, ruling out the BMPCC as the source of the focusing issue.
