FotodioX Pro Canon EOS Large Format 4 x 5 Adapter
Key Features
  • Mounts Canon EOS Camera to 4 x 5 Camera
  • Infinity Focus for Lenses 120mm & Longer
The Pro Canon EOS Large Format 4x5 Adapter from Fotodiox allows you to attach your Canon EOS SLR or DSLR camera onto many types of 4 x 5 cameras. The offset adapter allows you to move your camera's sensor vertically and horizontally so you can take multiple photos covering the entire 4 x 5 back and then stitching them together with software. Incremental markings help you position the camera and a tension screw lock keeps your camera from moving while shooting. You can also shoot only in the middle of the back, thereby shooting in the sweet spot of the lens, giving you edge-to-edge sharpness. Additionally, it will provide infinity focus for lenses 120mm and longer.

I inherited a vintage Linhof Technika 4x5. I can't afford to experiment with film. I do have a Canon 60D. Compatible?
Asked by: Paul
Yes, the FotodioX Pro Canon EOS Large Format 4 x 5 Adapter is compatible with your Linhof as long as it has a graflok back. The Fotodiox adapter attaches to the graflok back.

While we cannot conclusively confirm, based on appearances, it seems to be a Horseman 4X5 monorail camera (possibly the 45LX).

While this adapter does cover the entire 4x5 frame, it unfortunately will not be compatible with Chamonix cameras. This adapter is compatible with the following 4x5 cameras: Cambo, Linhof, Calumet, Horseman, Omega, Toyo, and Kodak with a Graflok back.

Is this a full adapter (meaning full bellows, mount, back etc.) for a camera or just a back and I have to have a large format camera to use with it?
Asked by: George
It is not a complete adapter. You must have an analog wide format camera capable of receiving this adapter in order to use it. This adapter is for you to attach your digital DSLR camera and thus be able to capture digital images through an analog large format camera. I've been getting great images and still scenes
