Protect the front element of your lens with the RainCap Small (Realtree Max4) from LensCoat. This product fits over the front end of your lens to protect it from elements such as rain, snow, dirt, dust, and sand. It is made from the same waterproof, breathable, lightweight poly tricot material as the LensCoat RainCoat 2. It includes a tether to attach it to the RainCoat and can also be folded and stored in the pouch of that product. Tape-sealed seams help keep the elements out so that your gear remains protected. This product features the Realtree Max4 color scheme and is made in the USA.

Is this cap too large to fit a Nikon Z 24-70 F2.8 ...
Is this cap too large to fit a Nikon Z 24-70 F2.8 lens and lens hood? lens diameter looks to be about 4.25". thanks
This LensCoat RainCap Small would be fine for the Nikon Z 24-70mm f/2.8.

question
I have a smaller Sony a6000 mirror-less camera with a variety of lenses; all but one small than 67mm. Will this work?
No, it's too big. This is for a 300mm 2.8, the front diameter of this kind of lenses is about 110mm.

Will this fit the Nikon 200-500 Lens hood?
I have the Lenscoat black (small) and it fits the Nikon 200-500 hood.

question
What is the difference to the Lenscoat cap that comes with the lens protection package (not rain)?
I don't think I understand your question but I can tell you the cover is excellent. I used it in the Oregon rain and I was so glad I had it. I would recommend to have one in your kit.
