Great option to power Nikon D850 using MB-18 battery grip

Using a Nikon D850 for long shoots requires battery changes. While using EN-EL-18C batteries provide high performance power, if the 18Cs get discharged to below about 30%, the D850 seems to lose focus ability in my experience. Having a quick backup to ensure you can finish the photoshoot is essential...Great item for EN-EL-15B batteries...if you have a Niikon Z camera, you already have 15B batteries and can use them with your D850 with this MB-18 adapter. Highly recommend.

Yes, the Nikon MS-D12EN Li-ion Rechargeable Battery Holder for MB-D12 Battery Pack, B&H # NIMSD12EN, would be compatible for use in the Nikon MB-D17 Multi Battery Power Pack designed for the Nikon D500 DSLR camera.

The Nikon MS-D12EN Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery Holder replaces the AA batteries in select NIkon motor drives.There is no back-up battery. You can have a second Nikon MS-D12EN Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery Holder in reserve, but it would be a replacement, also.

I don,t believe it will fit. The D4 series uses a much stronger battery.
