After building a successful business by creating a variety of wired solutions for photographers, Tether Tools is now cutting cords with the release of the Case Air Wireless Tethering System. This device allows shooters to take full control of their cameras using a wireless app and even provides a variety of added capabilities, such as time-lapse shooting and focus stacking, and the ability to remotely transfer images. Using a powerful ad-hoc 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connection, users will be able to connect directly to the Case Air from up to 150’ away without needing an external network or router, meaning it can be taken anywhere without worry.
Using a smartphone, tablet, or computer, photographers can use the Case Air to adjust settings such as exposure and focus, as well as check a live view image for composition. A Pinch-to-Zoom function and focus peaking make checking focus much easier and users will be able to view an RGB histogram, set up a grid, shoot video and more, all from the Case Remote App for iOS and Android. This app can help users program bracketed shots for HDR, perform advanced long exposures, and much more, and the app also provides built-in sharing tools for uploading images directly to your favorite social networks.
In addition to all of these features, the Case Air is small and lightweight, measuring just 2.6 x 1.6 x 0.6” and weighing only 1.8 ounces. It is easily mounted using an integrated shoe mount or a lanyard and it utilizes a built-in battery with an expected life of 6-9 hours. For working with a variety of different cameras, the Case Air comes with multiple camera connection cables, including one that lets you use the one originally supplied with your camera.

This only works with photo or video as well ?
Hi Marcello,
You should be able to start recording video via the app in addition to the photo features.
