Manfrotto’s latest addition to its flagship tripod line is being billed as the world’s first travel tripod and 3-way fluid head kit specifically designed to address the dual-purpose needs of budding photographers, videographers, vloggers, and travel enthusiasts seeking a single, lightweight tripod for capturing stills and video.
The spider connector on Manfrotto’s Befree 3-Way Live Advanced Tripod is designed to ensure secure camera support, regardless of how smooth or rugged the environment may be. The tripod’s ergonomic 3-position leg-angle selector is designed to work with equal ease, regardless of whether you are left- or right-handed.
Conceived as a support platform for the latest-generation full-frame mirrorless camera systems, the Befree 3-Way Live Advanced Tripod can support payloads weighing up to 13.2 lb and features a QPL Travel lever that enables you to set up and break down quickly and easily, leaving you more time to shoot.
Manfrotto’s Befree 3-Way Live Advanced Tripod also features an all-new 3-way fluid head that sports a long panorama handle, a portrait position, three bubble levels for critical camera and lens positioning, and handles that fold away when not in use to maintain a compact form factor more efficiently. Manfrotto’s Fluid Drag System works on both the pan and tilt axes to ensure smooth, steady camera movements, regardless of your shooting conditions.
The Manfrotto Befree 3-Way Live Head, which is available separately, incorporates a quick-release system that uses Manfrotto 200PL-Pro camera plates, which are Arca-Swiss compatible. Manfrotto 501PLONG video plates are equally compatible. A padded carrying case is included.
