Antelope Zen Tour Portable Thunderbolt/USB Audio Interface

Are you looking for a sturdy, portable eight-channel interface with low-latency recording, on-board DSP, networkability, and eminently respected word-clocking? Then look no further than this unit. With a panoply of connection points—including mic, line, Hi-Z, and re-amp jacks—this interface will suit the needs of small bands, combos, or anybody looking to record a group of instrumentalists in nearly any environment (so long as it has power).

A bevy of digital I/Os allows you to communicate with your sequencer or computer using USB, Thunderbolt, S/PDIF, and ADAT connections, while monitor outputs and headphone jacks afford you private and loudspeaker playback. A touchscreen control display allows you to view and manipulate your parameters with ease, and if you do have enough slack to monitor your sound-sources from a distance, a built-in talkback button will aid you in talking with your musicians.

This is an Antelope device, and therefore, the Zen Tour features Antelope clocking—specifically, the same 64-bit DDS acoustically-focused clocking found on other Antelope devices. Wordclock I/Os are also provided. On the DSP side, this interface gives you amplifier and cabinet emulations to run your DI’d guitar through, as well as a reverb module and an Pultec-style EQ. Furthermore, included software allows you to manage the Zen Tour’s various features from multiple computers in the same network. This software is compatible with Mac, Windows, and iOS devices.
