Just in time for Bild 2025, Shure is announcing an exciting new product for their two top wireless systems: the ANX4 Multichannel Wireless Receiver. Designed to provide users with up to 16 channels of Axient or 24 channels of ULX-D wireless audio, the ANX4 is built for flexible, high-tier, high-channel count wireless audio applications with an eye on easily managed wireless channels and compact, single rackspace convenience.
With the ability to support either the widely popular ULX-D or top-of-the-line Axient wireless systems and a fully scalable channel count, ANX4 lets users precisely scale their operations to their actual wireless needs. This means that the wireless receiver and wireless channel licenses are sold separately, allowing you to purchase your receiver and configure it with the exact number of channels you need.
Channels can be purchased in either single- or four-channel increments, allowing you build out either odd or even channel counts. Purchased channel licenses can be managed and transferred between multiple ANX4 receivers via your ShureCloud account, enabling dynamic optimization of receivers for specific events on a per-situation basis. For example, transfer more channels to a receiver located in NYC for a special event, then transfer them back to your device in LA when they’re no longer needed. Note that receivers can only support either Axient or ULX-D systems at a given time; the ANX4 cannot receive both Axient and ULX-D channels simultaneously.
The ANX4 receiver itself is compact and streamlined, helping to reduce space, weight, heat, and overhead cost for operators. All the same features and benefits found in the Axient and ULX-D systems can be exploited on the ANX4 (such 256-bit AES encryption and ULX-D High-Density mode). The receiver sports both Dante and standard network connectivity and features four RF antenna connectors (antennas sold separately). Finally, two versions of the receiver are available: a version with an AC power input and an AC power output for daisy-chaining ANX4 receivers together to increase channel count and a version with both AC power input and optional DC power input.
