Now, at the NAMM 2016 show, the company brings us its latest creation in the form of the EC-10 Electronic Layered Cajon, a unique, versatile instrument that combines an authentic cajon with electronic percussion technology. This design allows you to blend a range of complementary electronic sounds with the acoustic cajon voice, opening up a world of new percussive possibilities.
From traditional percussion instruments like tambourine and shaker, to acoustic snare, electronic drums, sound effects, and more, the EC-10 comes with a total of 30 built-in kits to choose from. Spice up singer/songwriter gigs with layered acoustic-type sounds like the djembe, or add backing beats with a TR-808 snare, or bring in some low-end thump with an electronic kick.
Fitted with a high-quality playing surface made of sapele wood, the EC-10 also features intuitive panel controls for kit selection, level control, and head/edge balance, and is completely self-contained with an integrated amplifier and coaxial speaker. Also highly portable, the EC-10 gives you up to 12 hours of continuous playing time with six AA-size batteries.
