Ready for the studio, the stage, and the field, these mics are designed to capture a wide range of instruments from drum overheads and percussion to pianos and acoustic guitars, and even ambient sound for video work. The mics feature 16mm diaphragms and cardioid polar patterns that focus audio capture on the sound source in front of the mic while picking up less sound from the back and sides. With the ability to handle SPLs up to 134 dB, they can be placed close to the source for nuanced recordings with definition and detail. A 48V power source is required to power each electret-condenser mic capsule.
The two mics in the ZPC-1 set are a stereo pair, matched at both 100 Hz and 1 kHz to work seamlessly together and provide accurate recordings you can trust. The chassis offer durable metal construction, and foam windscreens with rubber-ring openings for a tight fit are included, so the ZPC-1 set can easily be used with a portable Zoom mixer like the F3 for field recording. Mic holders and stand adapters are also supplied, allowing you to attach the mics to a stand or stereo bar (available separately) in a tight X-Y format or wider A-B configuration. Lint-free carrying pouches are included to keep your mics safe during transport and storage.
