Venus Optics is refreshing their popular Laowa Proteus line of 2x squeeze Super35 anamorphic lenses with new "Flex" versions that feature user-interchangeable flaring options, including amber, silver, blue, and clear. Expect the same sharp, professional look as the original Proteus lenses, but now with the freedom to swap flare modules and dial in a customized feel.

If you're looking to add an immersive, widescreen feel to your cine-style capture, check out the DZOFilm PAVO 2x T2.1 Anamorphic lens series. Introduced at NAB 2023, the series currently consists of two primes, 28 and 75mm, with four more—32, 40, 55, and 100mm—on the way, while teasing two longer lenses in the future.
