Dan Wagner’s interest in photography began with the gift of a Kodak Instamatic on his eighth birthday. However, it wasn’t until he took a photography class in junior high and won first place in a New York City photo contest that his interest became a lifelong passion. Wagner later graduated with degrees in photography, worked as an assistant photographer, opened his own studio, and taught photography at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. His work has graced galleries, book covers, magazines, and advertising. Today, Wagner divides his time between shooting assignments, writing novels, and doing street photography with his Rolleiflex.
