The Pro Video Department at B&H is pleased to announce Canon's newest update for the C300 Mark II, the EOS C300 Mark II Touch Focus Kit. This kit replaces the clamshell monitor that comes with the C300 MarkII with the 4" touchscreen monitor found in the popular C200. In addition to the included touchscreen monitor (LM-V1), a separate XLR adapter, the MA400, provides XLR inputs for audio. Two Camvate ¼"-20 Mount to Shoe Adapters and Manfrotto's 492 LCD Micro Ball Head round out the additions to the camera and kit.

The touchscreen features 1.23 million dots of resolution and allows you to tap the screen to focus compatible lenses. The included LM-V1 and MA400 combine to match the functions of the original clamshell monitor and XLR adapter, but this new configuration, in addition to the touchscreen functionality, enables mounting the touchscreen on the camera without the XLR unit for a streamlined profile, well suited for use on gimbal stabilizers when XLR audio is not necessary. This new kit with the classic C300 Mark II provides a powerful, proven camera, with an up-to-date touchscreen viewer—without sacrificing professional audio input capability.
