This Rapid Box Switch Octa Speedlite Kit with Deflector Plate (26") from Westcott includes everything you need to shoot one-light portraits except the speedlight itself. A one-stop diffusion panel is included, as is a deflector plate. When the deflector plate is in place it mimics the light of a large beauty dish, adding versatility to your lighting options. A Switch Speedlite Insert and an 8' light stand is included to hold your octa box and speedlight in place.
As the name "Switch" hints, Westcott has introduced a line of softboxes designed for setup and rapid swapping out of different brands of strobes and speedlights in seconds. The 26" Rapid Box Switch Octa-S Softbox is a good choice for use in the studio or on location for portraits, fashion, or corporate work. The large surface area of the softbox gives its output a wraparound quality especially when used close up. Another benefit is the reflection of natural-looking catchlights in your subject's eyes. As indicated in the name, the softbox has a basic ring to hold it together, but instead of full speed rings, 13 "inserts" are available and are required for a speedlight or specific brand of strobe. The quick release thumb-lock on the Rapid Box Switch ensures the security of your light. Besides the benefit of speed, the softbox is structurally sound with durable metal framework, heat-resistant fabric, and a reflective silver interior that maximizes your light source's output. The Rapid Box Switch Octa's diffusion material has also been thoroughly tested and found to be neutral, ensuring a true rendition of color. A carry case is included for storage and transport.

Instead of using a full dedicated speedring, this insert slides quickly into your Switch's rear tabs and secures in place with the Switch's thumb lock.
The Westcott Deflector Plate is designed for use with the Rapid Box. You can change the output of light by installing this lightweight, all-metal, reflective plate. It easily fits into the Rapid Box carry case and is compatible with the Rapid Box Octa, Octa Mini, and Rapid Box Strip softboxes.
This black-finished, 8' Light Stand from Westcott is made of lightweight, aluminum alloy with sure-twist section locks. It is an ideal stand for a travel kit with small light fixtures. It has a load capacity of 11 lb and a standard 5/8" stud with 1/4"-20 threaded tip.
