The black 3U Roto Shallow Rack Case with Steel Rails from SKB is a rotationally-molded shallow rack case with multiple applications, including holding equipment such as computers or music players which are "rack-able" or which can be screwed into the case. This case has steel front and rear threaded rails with a rail-to-rail depth of 10.7" and three vertical rack units. There is a water-resistant gasket in the lid and a side grip handle.

I bought over 10 of these cases for our AV Production company and they all were trash. The latches barely work and the case provides minimal protection. Get a regular road case or custom built cases instead. You get what you pay for and when tens of thousands of dollars of equipment are at stake,I stay away from SKB.
This is everything you want in a plastic rack case. Its a little heavier than the earlier versions, but miles ahead in terms of design and sturdiness.
