This is the ideal rack for my production switcher. With its narrow configuration it makes accessing the connections easy. With rack rails on the back, the possibility of setting up patch bays is available. This unit has not been field tested at the time of this review.

question
If I get two of these updated shallow racks, will they stack perfectly on top of each other? Thanks.
Yes! SKB - Outstanding Cases. We use Two of these, stacked, for our Mobile Video Broadcast Studio. Manageable. Top Rack: - 1U Furman PL-PLUS DMC Power Conditioner with Voltmeter / AMMeter. - 1U BMD HyperDeck Studio Pro 2- 2U (4) Rack Fans - constant temperature monitoring. - 2U ATEM 2 M/E Production Studio 4K Bottom Rack: - 1U Furman Power Conditioner - 2U Intel NUC & Decimator MD-HX Converter- 2U DataVideo DAC-70 Converters- 1U Gefen Audio Video Multi-Format Processor EXT-MFP. And a third Case for Audio (Focusrite mixer) & CAT6 Network (2 Switches & Router). All sitting on a flat folding, 4 wheel dolly. And plugged into a CyberPower UPS, when running. More than you asked... Hope this helps!
