The Realtree AP Snow Lens Cover for Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC Lens from LensCoat is a waterproof neoprene cover that protects your lens from scrapes and bumps helping to preserve its resale value. The lens cover provides a thermal barrier during cold weather, and breaks up the shape of your lens, making it less visible to wildlife.

For ease of use, there is a clear plastic window allowing you to access the AF controls and the distance scale, and an orientation hole for viewing the red dot indicator, which allows you to mount the lens on your camera without removing the lens cover. The cover includes an extra, easy to install and remove, touch-fastened piece for when you need to zoom the lens, and two additional pieces for use with the rotating tripod collar.

Lens Cover for Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC Lens (Realtree AP Snow) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 51.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent but Costly Item A decent item. Works just fine. But perhaps expecting a bit more for the price. Instructions are not very good. Seems to be an extra item I think for a teleconverter but no information on this. For the piece for the mounting, minstructions suggest you 'cut to size'. For the price, that should've been cut to exactly match the need. I'd be surprised if there's more than $ of materials tied up for this item. Was expecting a bit more in terms of instructions and precut items for the price. No competitive product which I'm sure drives up the price. Glad I have it and would purchase again give a lack of options but a bit disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A bit over PRICED !! Good thing about this product is that it makes your lens look good and saves lens body from scratches. That's it !!There is good scope to improve the quality in terms of fit/measurement as it does not fit seamless on all parts. Fitting instructions are good, however, company could add matching number stickers on the parts to make the process easier and faster for customers. Last, but the most important point, it is very much over priced for the item you get in terms of quality and quantity. The only reason I would recommend this product is that we don't have options to choose from.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Cover This cover snug nicely onto the lens itself, a couple of useless pieces Good rubber coating for rough users, prevent scratch and if you accidentally drop it lightly, it should reduce the impact a little. (Note: don't ever drop a lens) The shielding by the On/Off button is a little off but manageable to figure out which button to switch but just a little bit hard with the plastic, might wear and tear. Have to make sure everytime to make sure the right 1 is turn off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits Like a GLOVE! When I bought my new lens, a lot of my photographer colleagues recommended I get a Lens Coat for it. At first I couldn't be bothered; but then I got a scratch on it. Once I got over the trauma of the scratch, I logged into my B&H account and ordered one IMMEDIATELY! Since it arrived the next day (as all shipments from this fantastic company do!) I quickly put it on the lens. The instructions are pretty straight forward, and the install/application was a breeze! I like the new look my lens has and since I shoot primarily wildlife, the camo will most definitely come in handy! Oh, and Im not too worried about little scratches anymore, the neoprene appears thin, but in my opinion provides a fantastic barrier of protection for my investment!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Coverage Why have an expensive lens and not protect it? This cover looks great and adds a nice layer of protection to the lens. It does, however, take a bit of effor to get on properly. The instructions are ok, but not the best. Once it's on, it'll stay on snugly and protect the lens from bumps and scratches. I'm not sure about drops, so be careful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great accessory for wildlife photography It fits very well on the lens, it covers most of it, and has additional pieces to cover the tripod foot or the space where it sits if you are not using it. Very cleverly designed and very nice. It does camouflage and protects at the same time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does a great job While the instructions aren't awesome, it does fit fine. The tapered end doesn't stay put however, so I didn't use it. Also makes it a little awkward putting the hood on backwards for storage, but it's worth it for the protection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great protection Perfect fit for the Tamron 150-600mm lens. Literally fits like a glove, and I feel much better having my investment protected! One downside (not really a negative, but more of an unfortunate result) is that it is very challenging to reverse-mount the lens hood for storage. Because the diameter of the lens hood where it mounts to the lens, and the diameter of the end of the lens are almost identical, the thickness of the Lens Coat gets in the way a bit. It's still possible to do it, but just make sure you don't force it, as you may end up rolling the end of the lens coat, which could, in the long run, stretch it out a bit. While not worth knocking off a star in the rating, the only true negative, in my opinion, is the instructions. For something that cost this much has a minimum of 7 pieces, they could've at least given pics of how each one goes on, rather than a simple diagram and seven written steps, which are vague, at best. The picture showing the pieces is the most helpful info. Just make sure you lay out all of the pieces and compare them to the picture to determine their corresponding numbers, because the pieces themselves aren't numbered. And for any newbies like me who are confused, when the written instructions for piece 2 say to remove the rotating collar, that's the tripod mount. Loosen the screw, rotate it slightly and it comes off easily. Some reviewers commented on having extra pieces that they didn't know what to do with. It all depends on how you use it, as to how many extra pieces you have.If you keep the rotating collar (tripod mount) on your lens, then you will use piece 6a but not 6b.If you keep your lens fully zoomed, then you will need the piece with velcro, as that covers the extended barrel. But if you zoom in and out, you will not be able to use it.The piece with adhesive on the back is to cover the rotating collar (tripod mount), if you so choose. The only true extra piece I have is something that looks like it would go on the camera mount end, as it's tapered, similar to piece 7. But it's too big to use with the rotating collar in place and use piece 6a, and not needed if you take off the collar and use piece 6b.All told, having taken my time to figure out where everything went and being very careful to not over-stretch anything when putting it on, and this being my first experience with a Lens Coat, it took me about 20 minutes to get it on and situated properly. In my opinion, 20 minutes of my time and $$of my money is well worth protecting my lens!
