Good tripod overall

Overall, this is a great tripod ~ having 2 hand levers helps to compose shots and it is fairly sturdy! The only downside is a bit of the plastic chipped off first time using it... But definitely a good tripod for the price!

question

I'm looking at using this with a Nikon d5500 + 70-300vr lens. Would this be the one to get or would the compact action be ok?
Asked by: Chris H.
Always look at the weight the tripod will old and the weight of your camera with its heavest lens. In most cases all APS-Cs with wide angles and zooms, like 24-85... Will all work on almost any full sized tri-pod.

Is this arca compatible?

Is this arca compatible?
Asked by: Anna
No, it uses it own kind of quick release system (the plate replacement is Manfrotto 200LT-PL), not arca compatible. It's possible to replace the head with one that is, but, at this point, you should be looking into buying a separate tripod, head (arca compatible) and assembling - not worth to buy a complete tripod kit like this.
