After receiving my new Nikon and the battery that came with it, I soon discovered that I would need to be charging an extra battery while I was shooting one the original. This charger is easy to use and does the trick.

It does what it’s supposed to. The Z 6iii doesn’t come with a charger, so this is a must. I just wish it was a little cheaper, but such is photography.

Hi, yes it can; I've used it for my EN-EL15 batteries. BTW, you should look into replacing that battery(-ies) with the newer EN-EL15a battery. Nikon found that the EN-EL15 loses its charge over time (mine definitely did), and they now recommend using the EN-EL15a's instead. (I got mine right from B&H :) )

So as of September of 2023, does this come with the ac prong adapter, line cord, or both?
The one that arrived today (December 2024) came with a cord, but it did not come with the adapter plug shown in the photos.
The one that was supplied with my Z8 came with the adapter plug but without the cord.

Yes, the Nikon MH-25a Battery Charger can be used when travelling outside the USA, but you will have to purchase a travel plug adapter specific to the country you are going to visit.

Does this come with a cord or does it have built in prongs?
I just received mine, March 2026, and it only came with a power cord, it does not have built in "prongs" so you can plug it directly into a wall socket (as it shows online). All my previous Nikon chargers had prongs. Very disappointed. I have returned it for a Watson charger.
