The 3' Vello Off-Camera TTL Flash Cord provides creative photographers with the ability to remotely fire Pentax flashes with P-TTL capabilities. While the Vello Off-Camera TTL Flash Cord for Pentax Cameras (3') will physically connect your Ricoh KR-10 Super to the Ricoh Speedlite 240, it will not provide TTL (Through-The-Lens) flash metering because neither the camera nor the flash supports it.

Will this cord work properly with a Vivitar DF 383 flash for Pentax? I actually tried the Vivitar equivalent of this off camera flash cord and the flash, which worked nicely mounted to the hot shoe of the camera, would not fire when in the TTL mode.
Essentially TTLs are designed to work on the hot shoe not the extension cords, which lack the proper wiring design. Even so, moving the flash away from the camera distracts from the proper lighting. I recommend to practice and learn to shoot the camera and flash in manual modes.

I don't own two of them so I have no way of testing, I guess you can make the physical connection. Why not buy a longer version there are plenty on opitions out there
