  • 1Description

Provide a soft support for your camera with the black Safarisack 1.4 Beanbag from Kinesis Photo Gear. Filler can be poured directly into the zippered compartment without the need for a liner. The bottom of the bean bag has a rubberized-style fabric that keeps the sack in place when placed on a vehicle or other slick surface.

A sewn-in quick-release strap allows the beanbag to be securely fastened to a rack on top of a car, or other similar anchor.
Constructed of a combination of 400D and 420D Diamond Ripstop nylon fabrics, and supplemented by SlipNot, a rubberize-type fabric.
Suitable for shorter lenses, up to approximately 200mm in length
Sewn-in hand grab strap.
D-rings on the end for attaching a shoulder strap.

    Kinesis R144-K reviews

Safarisack 1.4 Beanbag Camera Support (Black) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quick and easy camera support I recently returned from a safari in South Africa, where our wildlife photography opportunities were from inside a car. The Safarisack 1.4 Beanbag was a quick and easy way to achieve good camera stability (using a heavy Pentax K-1 and 150-450 zoom combination). I filled it with dried split peas, which were easily obtainable and worked great, and I found the size of the 1.4 model bag just right. The rubberized surface minimizes slipping on the window edge or other surface, which was always an issue with previous home made beanbags I have used, and the carry handle makes handling very easy. I also enjoyed being able to empty the bag after the trip, getting rid of weight and bulk for air travel back home. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Pack, easy to fill Well sewn. Color is not obtrusive. Handle and snaps help to prevent loss.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful to protect camera gear! I filled mine with old rice as I didn’t want to add more plastic to the environment. It is such a simple idea...but the rubberized side is totally worth it. I do wish it was bigger as the 70-200 lens is too large for it. FYI: If you’re wondering why not just use a tripod - I hear you but there are situations such as slippery ice or concrete walls where this beanbag does the job more easily and quickly.
