The P2715Q 27" Ultra HD 4K Monitor from Dell features a resolution of 3840 x 2160 that provides over 8 million pixels, which offers you four times more detail than a 27" class Full HD resolution monitor. The high pixel density lets you see finer details onscreen, so you can better view and edit higher resolution photos and more. Furthermore, this monitor allows you to daisy-chain another monitor via the DisplayPort's in and out ports, and it connects to smartphones and tablets using an optional MHL HDMI cable. In addition to the video ports, the monitor is equipped with four USB 3.0 ports for connecting numerous USB devices. This monitor is built with an IPS panel that provides 178° viewing angles and 1.07 billion colors. To maintain its color accuracy, it is color calibrated from the factory with a 99% sRGB rating. Other viewing features include 2 million to 1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m² brightness, and 9 ms response time. Included with the monitor are a cable cover, power cable, DisplayPort to mini DisplayPort cable, and a USB cable.

question

I just purchased a jazzed up iMac 5k with top specs for video editing.Couple questions:)1. Will this secondary monitor slow me down (performance)?2. How do I connect the monitor to the iMac? Thunderport? Or do I need to purchase an adapter?

No a secondary monitor will not slow down the performance. To connect another monitor you would need a mini display adapter to whichever connection your secondary monitor has.

question

The new Dell 8700 SE desktop comes with an AMD Radeon HD R9 2GB GDDRS video card. More powerful cards are not available pre-installed at Dell. Is this AMD card sufficient to get all this monitor can offer? i.e., 4K and a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz. Will this AMD card allow this? I really don't want to upgrade to a better card. Any advice is appreciated.
Asked by: JOE
The AMD Radeon R9 cards will be able to support a 4k display at 60Hz.

question

Is B&H shipping the A01 version or the A00 (Older) version?
Asked by: Jay H.
I'm very sorry but we cannot confirm what version of the display we have in stock. The displays are stocked and shipped from our B&H shipping warehouse and we do not have physical access to them. If the display is defective in any way you would be able to return it to B&H within 30 days. Be sure to keep all your original packaging, and its contents until you are sure you are keeping the display.
