Do you need two boxes for the producer to talk to the talent or can you simply plug a microphone into one of the XLR inputs to talk to talent?
Asked by: Joe
A producer’s mic is normally sent through an aux buss on the console and then sent to the talent. You cannot plug a mic in as the inputs on the THS series are line level. More details can be seen in the THS 4 owner's manual which can be downloaded from the Whirlwind website. Go to this link: http://whirlwindusa.com/media/uploads/ths_3-4manual.pdf.

Yes the THS4 with work with Sennheiser Headsets. It has one mic/headset input. We do not supply Australian power plugs, one can either use an adapter or find their own wall supply that has a 12 V AC 1 Amp output.
