About 9 or 10 years ago I first purchased this ball head. Unlike others I had tried this one did not droop, which is a common complaint about ball heads. Steady as a rock! Unfortunately my tripod was accidentally knocked over (without my camera on it, but with the ball head in place). The Quick Release knob took the direct impact bending the screw mechanism beyond function. Given my experience with this Benro B4 I went straight to B&H to get a replacement. It's the exact same Ball Head. Thank goodness. No aesthetic or design improvements. Benro got it right with this one. Don't mess with a winner!

With a 44 pound load capacity this is perfect for my 200-500 lens, Easy to use too!
