    Benro B4 Reviews

B4 Triple Action Ball Head with PU70 Quick Release Plate is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The "SOLUTION" to End Ball Head Creeping I've been looking for a Ball Head that would not "creep" with my 5D MarkIII attached to my EF 100-400mm 4.5-5.6L IS II USM. I've tried various brands with a variety of "stated" weight loads. The same problem with all of them..."Creep." It wasn't until I found this Benro B4 that I "struck pay dirt!" And at a reasonable price compared to the comparable RRS and Arca models. This head is SOLID and not a smidgeon of creep. It's easy to adjust and I love its patented locking feature for the plate attached to the camera. I cannot give this ball head enough kudos. I just finished a 2-1/2 hour product shoot with this ball head and what a pleasure it is to use. Set it and snap away. No constant readjusting. I highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good BallHead for the Money After my Gitzo of nearly 7 years decided finally kicked the bucket I purchased a Benro tripod and this head. I couldn't really stomach the prices Gitzo, arca Swiss, RRS etc... want to charge for their products - and this seemed like a good alternative. The ballhead is definitely beefier than my previous Gitzo, and is Arca compatible which was my main concern. So far so good, it can handle a ton of weight and in vertical orientation I haven't noticed any slip like my old ballhead. The knob to loosen the top that slides the plate in and out is a bit wierd and you have to pull it out and twist to make it loosen further. That is hard to put into words but the knobs I feel like might be the Achilles heal. I'm hoping I don't knock them against a rock and they break. I'd assume they are fine but they don't look or feel as durable as I'd like. Overall I'm pretty happy with it so far.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from doesn't handle load as advertised using on a monopod with telephoto lens. got it cranked all the way down and it still won't hold without slipping. Already looking for another alternative to replace it with. Not impressed with ball head.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lose Knobs The B4 is solid built. There is no problem holding the weight. The problem is in the tension knob and panning knob they will loosen off as you use it unless you tight them all the way down. The safety for the quick release plate is very nice.
