question

Can I use this adapter with a 1x2 flex mat
Asked by: Anonymous
B&H sent me your question. It works fine with the 1x1 flex mat, If the 1x2 says it can operate on 11-18 volts then I'm sure you could.

question

Can I use the Anton Bauer Cine battery to power the Flex 10 x 10 with this cable?
Asked by: NICHOLAS
As long as your brick battery has a d-tap port, you should be able to power the light anywhere from 30 mins to an hour or more.

question

I have two Flex light Cine Kits... One 1x1 and one 1x2. I have two D-Tap connectors (one for each). NEITHER cable works on either light. There's power to the 1x2 control unit, but will not light the light. There's no power to the 1x1 control unit. Ideas?? Thank you!

For color temperature of LEDs you would need the Sekonic C-700R Spectromaster or a spectrometer specifically designed to accurately read LED light. Other versions and older color meters simply are not designed to accurately measure the light output of LEDs. In addition, While the actual readout from a Flex LED may be different than the what your brand and model of camera records as a specific temperature, once set, your Flex will maintain the same color temperature each time you set it with the same readout. Your output range may be related to the D-tap question where you appear to be attempting to use powering options and connectors not specifically designed for use with your Flex. Please contact Westcott Customer Service if you experience issues beyond what I addressed as we stand behind our products and their performance.
