The GH3382QD Series 3 Center Ball Head from Gitzo is an Arca-type compatible ball head that is compatible with Mountaineer Series 2 and 3 tripods, has a load capacity of 44.1 lb, an independent panning lock for 360° rotation, and a height of 5". The head weighs 1.7 lb and has a tungsten disulfide coating to help keep the ball movement smooth while it minimizes sticking and slipping. A screw lock lock tightens down on the included quick release plate, and a bubble level helps maintain straight horizons in your images. To allow for precise adjustments, a friction control dial is integrated into the large locking knob.

Sorry Hector, this is really a clarification on my initial question; while I am sure the knobs stay put when they have been adjusted, I am more so referring to the rubber grips, can these slip off or rotate independently of the knobs in case the knob is being tightened tightly. Do/Can the rubber grips slide?
The rubber grips on the Gitzo GH3382QD Series 3 Center Ball Head will not slip off or rotate unless they are worn out. The head is covered by a 10 year warranty in case that happens.

Does the screws and adjustable levers with the grips stay firmly affixed to the knob or can they rotate in their own? I have been burned in the past with other ball heads where the rubber grips can loosen over time especially when tightening the ballhead and you meet resistance after getting it tight then the rubber grip starts to move. Do these grips do that?
100% No. Gitzo stay were you put them. All tension control knobs stay where they have been adjusted.
