will this make the bokeh any 'creamier' than without lens turbo II on the samefixed focal length prime lens at teh same max aperture or at least will it make the background (with portraits) even more blurred or does the fact it shortens the focal length/widen the fov even make the background less blurred and boeh less 'creamy'? Thank you
The adapter will allow your lens to be used as it would appear on a full frame camera. It will be similar to using the lens without an adapter.

Has anyone noticed any problems with pre-G ...
Has anyone noticed any problems with pre-G lenses? I just put a Series E 50mm 1.8 and it seems like the release button interferes with the free play of the aperture control. This also happened with a Nikkor 1.4 50 but not a Nikkor HC f2 50. You can depress the button and move the ring but this seems less than ideal to me.
No other such reports have surfaced. This is an economy adapter and quality control can vary. You may wish to consider exchange.

What should the aperture of a Nikon G lens be set to before attaching to the adapter? Or does it matter?
The aperture of a Nikon G lens is always open. It does not need to be set before putting this on the adapter. The aperture ring on the adapter takes care of the light amount control.

Is aperture control actually controls the aperture blades in the attached lens, or it has internal aperture blades (like on some of the cheaper adapters)? Also, is there any way to tell the f stops, or it's all guess work? Like for example, if I know the sweet spot of the attached lens is f5.6, is there any way to set it up with the adapter?
Just received the NIkon g to M43 version. YES aperture controll , actually controll the lens aperture blades (good)!I still not 100% sure, but , it seems that if you mount the lens on the adapter with the lens set to 5.6 for example, the fastes aperture you will get from operating the adapter will/should be 5.6. I haven't test it properly but for now ... it seems very good, decent materials, and very nice image look Lens I tried: NIKON -S 50mm f .14 NIKON AI-s 28mm f2.8 NIKON -G 35mm f 1.4
