The FreeWave Fusion Basic 2.4 GHz Wireless Trigger System for Sony Multi Interface Shoe from Vello is a versatile, reliable remote control kit that will trigger your camera, shoe mount flash, and studio lights from up to 328' away. Sixteen discrete channels give you the ability to avoid interference from other users while maximizing your creative potential

Use the system to expand the capabilities of your shoe mount flash or studio lights without the hassle of tangled PC cords. The FreeWave system is also great for capturing wildlife. Simply place your camera on a tripod and use your FreeWave Fusion trigger as a remote camera release from a distance. Macro work is yet another use. Release your camera's shutter remotely to avoid unwanted camera vibration. The 2.4GHz radio signal will pass through walls, windows, floors, and other obstructions.

The FreeWave Fusion Basic 2.4 GHz Flash Trigger Set is compatible with most major manufacturers' shoe-mount flashes with manual power control. Pentax, and Sony Minolta-type shoes are not compatible. Each unit runs off two AAA batteries (not included).

Wireless Triggering
The FreeWave Fusion Basic can wirelessly trigger your hot shoe flashes, studio lights, or camera from up to 328' away. You can also use it as a wireless "cable release" for wildlife or on a tripod for macro work.
2.4 GHz Frequency Signal
This low frequency signal can pass through and around obstructions offering you greater flexibility in placement of your flash units and camera.
Flash Sync up to 1/250 Sec

16 Channels
The wireless system's 16 channels allow you to change your transmitter/receiver settings to avoid interference from other wireless devices.
Multi-Purpose Flash Trigger
You can use multiple receivers to trigger many flashes with a single transmitter. You can also trigger multiple cameras with additional receivers and shutter release cables.
LED Indicators
Confirm communication of trigger system with pre-focus, shutter release, and flash trigger in wireless mode.
Long Exposure Photography
Use your FreeWave Fusion Basic on a tripod with your camera's Bulb setting to make exposures as long as your camera will support without touching the camera.
Dual-Function Shutter Release Button
Press halfway to focus, press fully to trigger the shutter.
Wildlife Photography
Release the shutter from a safe distance for photos of hard to approach wildlife.
Macro Photography
Use your transmitter as a wireless "cable release" to avoid accidental movement when shooting close-up.
Single Shot and Continuous Shooting Modes
Allows you to use the cameras motor drive for rapid sequences.
Most hot shoe flashes, studio strobes, and cameras are compatible with the FreeWave Fusion Basic 2.4 GHz.

FreeWave Fusion Basic 2.4 GHz Wireless Trigger System for Sony Multi Interface Shoe is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for Sony Multi interface shoe This item was advertised as for Sony Multi Interface Shoe. It is not. Its hotshoe is an ordinary flash hotshoe. Its manual said it is not compatible for Pentax/Sony. The heading should be corrected.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Will be nice to see if they actually work.....extra cord req These seem like a great piece to add and use, but when you buy the dedicated product (in my case for Sony Multi-interface) it should come with cables that actually work with your camera....but no, two cables that don't help, and you have to buy the correct cable for Sony Multi-interface separately...when the cable arrives I hope they will actually work with my camera (A-58)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well with a caveat Using on a Sony A6000. I discovered you need to turn off the electronic shutter option (EFS) and just use the mechanical shutter for this trigger to work reliably. I have an old Sunpak compact flash, and a Vivitar 285HV I'm using with this system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works pretty darn good for the price and my needs. FYI: I got this on a great sale, so didn't pay full price. I purchased this product so I could light up my tent with my night photography. I have used single LED lights in the past which worked quite well, but I wanted something where I could control the lighting of my tent and not have the lights on for hours while I got my shot. I finally got out last night and tested This Vello wireless trigger system. It worked fine when I set it to the flash setting on the selector button, and I was able to get pretty far away from the tent to take the picture. The only issue was that in taking my time in night photography, the power save mode on the flash would kick in and I would have to go restart the flash for it to work. The Vello remote worked pretty good except for that. I was able to get 20 - 30 yards away from the tent, and the remote was still working. I have the Sony HVL-F32M and the Vello Mini Softbox to spread out the light in the tent, and I got some nice results from my first try. I set the flash setting to 1/8 yo 1/16 power to control the lighting due to the night conditions. (moon / no moon). I still have a learning curve, but I think this will come in very handy for my night photography.
