As an uncoated fine art paper, Platinum Rag from Hahnemuhle is ideal for platinum printing as well as a variety of other non-traditional photographic printing techniques, such as palladium, Van Dyke, cyanotype, and salt prints. Available here as a 5-pack of 8.5 x 11" sheets, the naturally bright white paper offers a basis weight of 300 gsm and is made from 100% cotton fiber. It is acid free with no optical brightening agents and is free from alkaline buffering. This makes it easy to coat and clear.
This paper is capable of displaying images with an excellent tonal range and very deep blacks. The smooth, slightly textured surface is also pleasant to touch and being an uncoated paper is able to be printed on the front or back.
