Auray ERS-16U Reviews
Great Little Equipment Rack
Economical, easy assembly, solid construction, works with either 10-32 or 10-24 screws, both of which are included.
Solid Rack Unit
This is a solid rack unit. Assembly was straight forward. I would recommend these equipment racks.
Services and Quality
All Excellent.....
I use these racks all the time!
Good simple product, well built, fair price. Comes with both Euro and Imperial screws and rails so pay attention when you're building it or you'll end up doing it twice.
proper build
I started with 12u and then bought another 12u and 16u. this is the best bang for the buck with all kind of racks out on market
Build quality reflective of the price
This is a probably the most affordable rack around and its build quality certainly reflects that fact. For a home lab this is quite a good price for the amount of rack you get. The instructions in the box are incredibly spartan, so if you do get this, ignore the paper in the box and use the PDF linked on the site. Some gotchas: - The rack comes with a ton of screws (both 10-32/5mm and 12-24/6mm) already, there's a good chance you won't need to buy extra. - The orientation of the rails determines the screw type! One other reviewer mentioned that the 10-32 (5mm) screws on this site are incompatible. This is not true. The rails have _different_ hole sizes depending on orientation. With the orientation shown in the product pictures (vent slit facing in), the holes will be 12-24/6mm _but_ if you want to use 10-32/5mm screws just assemble with the vent slits on the rails facing out. This is described in the PDF linked on this site but not in the in-box instructions! - The back plate is somewhat important for rigidity. The rack doesn't have much in the way of diagonal supports and has a tendency to shear
Excellent Rack
We upgraded wireless mic's in our church and needed a slightly larger rack. It works great and is very sturdy. Excellent quality for the price. Would definitely recommend this rack for A/V equipment.
Exactly what I wanted!!
I got it when they said and it worked perfectly for the application for our church. Nothing but good to say
