According to Elinchrom, each camera model requires the transmitter designed for that brand. Since you and your studio partner shoot with different brands of cameras, you would need two different remotes.

That is a transmitter. If you want to use that one you will need a receiver as well.The Elinchrom EL-Skyport has additional features that will only work with specific Elinchrom lights.With impact lights I would just use a traditional wireless sync. Some of those are listed below and the ones I am listing are kits with a receiver and transmitter.
