Ilford 1865509 reviews

Multigrade FB Warmtone Paper (Glossy, 11 x 14" , 50 Sheets) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reliable workhorse For years I've been a great admirer of ILFORD papers due to their technical properties: consistency from one batch to another, reliable results, easy handling, and more. And while experimenting with other papers, I have always returned to ILFORD for it's overall workhorse reliability. However, in the case of warmtones I tended towards the more difficult, less consistent and unwieldy FORTE warmtone because of its gorgeous golden coloring when sepia toned. Today, as the number of alternative papers grows smaller I'm very happy to have ILFORDS warmtone as a very good alternative.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fiber warmtone After experiencing a number of papers, first, RC glossy, to start my deleveloping shiny and for the beginner. Next...RC Pearl...getting closer to a softer feel, then FB Warmtone Semi-matte. WOW! what a difference. I use RC only to pump out photos from my negatives to see what I want to archive on fiber. I have produced bad negatives into great pictures on this paper. FB warmtone, whether, glossy or matte, the only ones I used, produce great contrast and tones. These tones pull you to the picture! If you want artistic, beautiful pictures...then this is the paper to use!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable paper I am a fine art photography student who use this paper to print from my 6x7 and 4x5 negatives. This paper is my favorite warmtone paper in that it is extremely reliable and it isn't too warm, which I prefer. It handles its contrast well and it is easy to use without too much experimentation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement for Portriga Rapid I loved printing on Portriga Rapid, but when Agfa discontinued it, I had to find a new paper and Ilford Fiber Warmtone is great. It's not quite as warm as Portriga, but it is great for work I do for other people and for my own personal work

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Ilford Paper This paper is probably one of the best Ilford makes. A friend and I are testing it against Oriental warmtone. In comparison, the Ilford paper is much cooler. It handles contrast well and is fairly easy to print (easier than the Oriental). I have no real complaints. As far as warmtone paper goes, it really just depends on how warm you want it. This one isn't the warmest, but I still love the paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Would definitely recommend! I'm using this paper for my final portfolio in my photography class. This size paper and warmtone texture allows my photo to take life it could achieve on 8x10 RC paper. Don't get mr wrong, RC paper is great. But for a final portfolio this is the paper to buy! It is a bit more time consuming to print on 11x14 paper, but the end product is worth it!
