Ilford 1865581 reviews

Multigrade FB Warmtone Paper (Glossy, 16 x 20" , 50 Sheets) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good and consistent paper! Iford papers are consistent and reliable. I have used other papers over the past 4 decades. Others I had preferred. They are often great, until they are not. Either they go away or the change or they are terribly inconsistent. With Ilford I can actually be in the middle of working on an image and go to the next box with a different emulsion and it will be very close. This is fabulous. And, they are still around and committed to the fine art of silver photography!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable, consistent, and lovely I have been using this paper for years for exhibition-quality prints, personalizing the effects by adding potassium bromide and benzotriazole to Dektol, gaining extra depth in the blacks and separation in the whites while losing some of the warmth. The white has a hint of cream and does not seem to have optical brighteners which also means that they won't change over time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Paper I use this paper for a silver gelatin print and follow it up with selenium toning. This paper, in combination with the selenium, creates an amazing deep red color in the darks of my photograph. It is exactly what my work needed to be taken to the next level. It is expensive, but it's the best paper you can get, it's double weighted and the finished product is lovely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best WT VC papers still available I can't complain about this paper. Especially, because it is one of the few s.g. papers extant. I applaud Ilford for its commitment to silver printing and urge tall those others still working with silver to support Ilford.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Paper This is a great paper. Combined with selenium toning it creates a lovely dark red tone in the darks of the photograph. It is a bit expensive, but it is definitely worth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best of the fibre based papers. I print for archival quality, and of all the papers I've used, the Ilford Warmtone is the best overall
