Is this work on Manfrotto MSQ6PL?
Asked by: Fong
I have not tried on Manfrotto MSQ6PL; but it fits well with my RRS 85L QR lens plate(bought from B&H earlier) for Nikon 200-500mm Telezoom lens as well as Wimberley P40 that i bought earlier. Also fit well with my Really Right Stuff BD500 Base Plate for Nikon D500. The credit goes to B&H customer support staffs whose services are excellent & i got my stuffs with a week of each. Thanks

Beside the cost difference, is there any benefit using the 80mm versus the 60mm?
Asked by: andre
Regarding the benefit of using the 80mm vs. the Really Right Stuff B2-LR-II Lever-Release Clamp (60mm), the 80mm is for bigger, heavier gear, like a 4x5 or 8x10 camera, as well as large pro DSLR cameras with long lenses.

Can this be used on a Gitzo GT2545T tripod?

Can this be used on a Gitzo GT2545T tripod?
Asked by: Thomas
Yes. But just remember that the tripod itself has no way to adjust the angle of the camera if you mount this plate to it directly. In order to level the camera you would need to adjust the legs to get the legs themselves level. Ideally you would get some kind of "head" to mount to the top of the tripod and then you would mount this plate atop of that. That is what I have done. I have my tripod legs, then an Arca Swiss d4 tripod head. Then I have a cheap arca swiss style "plate" that I screw to the bottom of this lever release clamp you are asking about. Finally I attach this plate/clamp combo to the top of the geared Arca Swiss d4 head and am off to the races.
