The 6" Multi-Purpose Rail from Really Right Stuff is a double dovetail plate designed to mount to the bottoms of medium and large format cameras, and the rail will also accommodate to a telephoto lens foot that does not exceed 4.75" in length. The rail has 4.3" of slotted length, so the lens foot can be adjusted on top of the rail.
Once the lens has been secured to the rail with the 3/8"-16 screw and adjusted, the MPR-C flange can be installed in eight different positions to prevent twisting on a ball head or clamp.
