The Wall Plate with 3" Baby Swivel from Impact is a chrome-plated steel plate with a swiveling 3" long, 5/8" baby pin and a large T-handle that allows precise positioning of a light or accessory with a 5/8" receiver. A space-saving alternative to a light stand, the plate has eight anchor points for mounting on the floor, wall, ceiling, or any flat surface with user-supplied nails or screws.

This works perfectly and is very handy to have. Very strong and well made. I love that it can swivel. By having that flexibility, you can position anything attached to it in all kinds of angles. The knob and ball are made of metal and are super strong and tighten down very securely. And the 8 holes on the plate allows you to add a bunch of screws or nails to wherever you attach it, giving you even more peace of mind that it's secure. This can hold a lot of weight. This can be mounted anywhere that you can screw or nail into, like a wall, a flat, ceiling, board, floor or apple box. I'm currently using mine attached to an apple box so that I can mount lights down low and it's working great. But, as you can see from my pictures, I also used it to mount a Luxli Timpani² Flat Panel light on the side of a flat. It held without any problem. This is a great addition to my production grip gear and has a variety of uses. I'm very impressed with the build quality and functionality.
