Help! I am trying to use this adaptor with my Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR on my new GFX 100s. everything mounts up but I have NO aperture control. it seems to default to wode open or fully stopped down. I cannot control the aperture at all. this is useless in this state. Is there any resolution? Thanks..
This adapter is a MANUAL (non-electronic) adapter. You will not have any electronic controls relating to your lens (i.e. no AF, no in-camera aperture control, no EXIF lens data). In your instance you will not be able to control the aperture as this lens features an electronically controlled aperture diaphragm that requires an electronic connection to work; this is designated in the lens title by the first "E" (f/2.8E).
If you were using a lens with a mechanically coupled aperture, such as the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II Lens, the aperture on your lens would be controlled via the red ring on the adapter, this will allow you to open and close the aperture. Please note that this will not provide traditional f-stop values.

As the FUJIFILM GFX 50R Medium Format Mirrorless Camera uses the Fujifilm G-mount, yes, the FotodioX Nikon F Lens to Fujifilm G-Mount Camera Pro Lens Mount Adapter, B&H # FOPLMANNFGFG, would be compatible for use on the Fujifim GFX 50R Medimum Format Mirrorless Digital Camera.
Do note that FotodioX recommends using Nikon full-frame lenses, particularly 85mm lenses and longer. Most 50mm lenses and all tilt/shift lenses should produce image circles large enough to cover the medium format sensors, though their performance will only have been optimized for their native formats. Wide angle lenses (wider than 50mm) will vignette on the Fujifilm GFX camera. This is a manual adapter, so lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilization, etc.) will not be operable..

Hello, when I mount the adapter and lens to a Fuji GFX 50r the shutter will not release. The adapter seems fine and the camera is set to manual control. Camera works fine with Fuji lenses. And I missing something on this?

You need to assign the camera to shoot (relic the shutter ) without a lens , this adapter does not have electronic contacts
