Would this kind of platform work on bleachers? Would I need to put something underneath the legs to keep it even and steady?
Asked by: Sean
The Axler Portable Medium Duty Shooting Riser (4 x 4') is a 4ft x 4ft riser platform that requires as much space for setup. The legs are all equal height, so should it be used in a location where the ground is not level, you may need to put something under the legs to keep the platform steady and secure.

How about vibration transfer? Should a second riser be used adjacent to the camera riser?
Asked by: Laurence
This will all depend on where you are shooting and what this riser is sitting on. However under normal circumstances vibration should not be seen in your shots.

question

What does this item weigh?
Asked by: Suzanne
They stated the weight below but here is some insight on having this in person. Its a great/reasonable size for a one person set up. It comes in two cases, one for the legs and the 3 sections for the platform are in another case. The legs are super light and open just by spreading it out. The 3 platform sections weigh in person no more than one would expect. Heavy duty like a good aluminum ladder but not too heavy to where its cumbersome. Its also not too high to get on top of without a stool and your gear. I feel as though the 4x4 would be best if you did not need it for travel as much but more for having it set up in a stationary place such as a church etc. So far I really like the 3x3!
