The Softbox with Bowens Speed Ring and Grid from Godox is a 13.8 x 63" modifier that fits full size Godox flash heads or other brands that have the widely used Bowens front accessory mount. Good for all types of photo work, the softbox renders a soft, flattering quality of light with open shadows and manageable contrast. The included fabric grid attaches to the front of the softbox via touch-fasteners. The grid provides directional control of the output, keeps light off the background, and allows you to light specific areas of your subject.

Godox SB-NBM 35160 Reviews
Not super fast to assemble, but worth it!
Comes and stores as a fairly flat and compact package. Requires re-assembly each time you set it up on site, by inserting four rods and securing the velcro edging. But easy to do in a couple minutes once you get the hang of it, and looks and works great! And then packs up to be easy to transport. It can be used with or without the included thin white cloth diffuser pane. I think the overall light control and diffusion is on par with my other more expensive softbox. It fits securely onto my existing Godox lights. Sweet!
Oriented horizontally, difficult at best.
I see plenty of reviews criticizing this style of softbox due to the difficulty of assembly and disassembly. All brands of this style have the same challenge. So, I don't see it as an issue, especially at the quality and price of these Godox softboxes. If you want softboxes of equal or greater quality that assemble and disassemble quickly, add an extra digit to the price - seriously. The problem I encountered is that when oriented horizontally, the softbox peels off of the speedring. It doesn't matter how well I secure the velcro. In fact, the velcro remains firmly secure. I tried using gaffer tape to hold the softbox to the speedring, but it wasn't very secure, and prevented me from rotating the softbox without removing the tape. I have a great need to use these oriented horizontally, so it's a big problem for me. Because this softbox is so tall and heavy, it puts a lot of torque on the point where the Bowens mount pivots. This is especially problematic when used on a boom. It's not the fault of the softbox. You just need to be aware of it, and use a Bowens mount and boom that are secured firmly enough to prevent either from rotating, and causing the softbox to point down. A counterweight on the opposite side of the boom; perhaps attached by a super clamp; will help prevent the boom from rotating.
Best price for a strip light and grid combo
This is a well made, inexpensive unit that so far has held up quite well. I will likely be buying another one shortly for my second rim light. Well done Godox!
Godox strip box with Bowens Speed Ring
This comes with the Bowens speed ring, inner and front diffusion, black grid and the fixture. Once assembled it does a good job...this needs the rods be put in one by one and it is a bit time consuming. I have used it as an edge/back light. For the price...very good.
Amazing for the price - not portable
Getting a 63 strip box with the grid and a speedring, for this price? Wow! You can't pass it up! It comes with a carry bag, but these things are anything but portable. The light quality is great, and they work perfect (of course) with my GoDox strobes. But they are not portable. I travel to my locations, and these just wont fit in the car, even in the back seat. And although they aren't too difficult to set up and tear down to repack, it would get old quickly. I sold them to another photographer after one use. If you have a studio space and will be leaving them assembled, you simply MUST have them. You can't get anything better for the price, and they will serve you well. If you are traveling to locations, these are too big and you should look at collapsible options.
Works well
Works like I wanted and pretty happy. Pretty easy setup if you have flat surface. Its not something I want to take apart and move to locations each time. Got for studio 90% of the time.

Easy peasy
Easy to assemble and disassemble, lightweight, sturdy, it comes with two layers of diffusion, a grid and a carrying bag... perfect for me!
