Impact Aluminum Mid-Range Boom Arm

The Impact Aluminum Mid-Range Boom Arm extends up to 60" and collapses down to a compact 26" for portability. Made of lightweight aluminum, it features a sturdy design and supports speedlights, LED fixtures, reflectors, and light shapers up to 5 lb when fully extended. It's light enough to quickly set up as well as conveniently transport.

The Mid-Range Boom Arm features a heavy-duty pivot clamp with a 5/8" light stand receiver and a ratchet handle for easy and secure angle adjustment. It also includes a reversible 5/8" spigot with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded posts that provide multiple mounting options. To protect your gear, the Mid-Range Boom Arm is designed with a counterweight hook and comes with an empty saddlebag-style sandbag that supports up to 5 lb to balance and secure your fixtures or accessories.

Ideal for when you're shooting on the go, the Mid-Range Boom Arm features sturdy aluminum construction and weighs just 3 lb. It collapses down to 26" to fit comfortably in a light case or tripod bag for easy travel.
Adjustable and Sturdy
The Mid-Range Boom Arm extends from 26 to 60" and is outfitted with a sturdy pivot clamp with a ratchet handle for accurate and secure angle adjustment. At full extension, the boom arm supports lights or other fixtures up to 5 lb.
Pro-Style Attachment
The mounting socket on the Mid-Range Boom Arm is a 5/8" receiver that's compatible with most light stands and other mounts with 5/8" pins. Additionally, a reversible spigot is included that features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 posts for compatibility with most fixtures.
Counterweight
To protect your gear, the Mid-Range Boom Arm is designed with a counterweight hook and comes with an empty saddle sandbag that supports up to 5 lb to function as a counterweight. Additional saddle sandbags, sold separately, can be placed over the base of the stand leg to prevent your stand from tipping over.

This Impact Heavy-Duty Air-Cushioned Light Stand is a black anodized aluminum support that rises to a height of 9.5' and folds down to 42" for storage and transport. The stand will handle up to 22 lb and is topped with a removable 5/8" spigot with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads. It has a wide footprint of 52" for greater stability. Air cushioning gently lowers the light when making height adjustments to protect equipment and fingers.

My boom arm gave out after 25 years and it was old when I got it. This was a great replacement. I have included a photo to show what it will be holding and not spinning like the other one did.

A compact book arm. Works well to loft and position strobes and smaller lighting equipment. The compact size means it's early transportable and I use it for mobile shoots and portable set-ups.

when you say 26-60" extension, is that measured from the stand or does it include the counterbalance part?

Its 26-60" from the hook for the counter balance, to the tip of the 5/8" stud. This is not measured from the stand.
